Academy Award winner Kate Winslet (Steve Jobs, HBO?s Mildred Pierce) is slated to executive produce and lead upcoming mystery Mare of Easttown from creator Brad Ingelsby. Set in Pennsylvania, the limited series follows a small-town detective whose life begins to crumble as she investigates a local murder.

Ingelsby (Out of the Furnace, American Woman) will write all episodes of the series, to be directed by Gavin O?Connor (Warrior, The Americans, Seven Seconds).

Executive producers include Ingelsby, O?Connor, Gordon Gray through Mayhem Pictures, Paul Lee through wiip (word.idea.imagination.production.) and Mark Roybal through wiip.

Mare of Easttown is an HBO co-production with wiip.
